Liveable cities, innovative cities, architecture of tomorrow.

Africa’s urbanization is one of the fastest in the world. In Abidjan as elsewhere, it creates opportunities, but also challenges: housing, mobility, infrastructure, inequality, climate change. It is time to move from forced urban growth to thoughtful and organized urbanization. ARCHIBAT 2027 asks the question: how to build cities that are both liveable, innovative and resilient, taking into account cultural realities, digital developments and environmental challenges?

01 · Liveable cities: living, comfort, inclusion and quality of life Housing, public spaces, mobility, security and social cohesion, with particular attention to young people, women and residents of precarious neighborhoods.

02 · Innovative cities: technologies, digital, construction, IABIM, 3D modeling, digitalized construction sites, smart city, PropTech: what innovations for more efficient and accessible cities? And what future for the building trades?

03 · Architecture of tomorrow: foresight, training, sustainability, new models. Local materials, bioclimatic architecture, low-carbon approaches, resilience to floods and heat, training of professionals. What the show will produce: the ARCHIBAT 2027 Declaration, submitted to the Prime Minister, and the publication of the conference proceedings.
